You can request a domain name change as long as your Kayako Download license is kept within the same organization and ownership. In other words, it is not possible to transfer or sell a Kayako Download license from one organization to another.
New Kayako Download (after 9th July 2014)
If you have a new subscription Kayako Download license (which we started offering on the 9th July 2014), your license lets you to access your support center using any number of domain names.
The only restriction is in the staff and admin control panel. You must log in to these using your primary registered domain name (the one you entered when activating your license).
If you would like to change your primary registered domain name, please contact us. Your Kayako Download subscription needs to be active before we make the change.
Old Kayako Download (before 9th July 2014)
If you have an old Kayako Download license, your license restricts you to one domain name for the entire helpdesk (including the support center and the staff control panel). Changing domain names is at Kayako's discretion and will only be done if the license is being re-purposed within the same organization.
If you would like add a new additional domain name, please contact us about upgrading your old Kayako Download license to a new Kayako Download license which comes with an unlimited number of access domain names (and guaranteed upgrade pricing).
If you would like to change your registered domain name, please contact us. Your Kayako Download product updates and support needs to be active before we make the change.
Transferring Kayako Download licenses to other accounts
A Kayako license cannot be transferred or re-sold to another owner, but it can be repurposed within the same organization. You can request that a Kayako Download license belonging to your Kayako account is transferred to another user's account, as long as the license stays within the same organization and ownership.
